Diwali with Rex

Diwali Is Coming...

Diwali is coming, just another day left. But let me tell you one thing that bursting crackers is fun but it isn't fun at all for these domestic animals. Dogs, cats and other animals all are very afraid of these crackers and it can cause a heavy damage to them physically or mentally. 

Touch wood this should not happen but if a street animal by chance came near a burning cracker and had a severe burn, who the hell will take care of it? He will be in pain and no one else. He couldn't have a medicine applied on that. He will just roll in mud to make it a lil' less burning.

Moreover a survey was conducted and it said that animals may have a heart attack because of crackers sound. So who so ever has got a pet please keep them in a closed room and try to give shelter to street dogs and other animals.

Pre-Diwali Fun with Rex(i)

All the Indian readers must be aware that Diwali, the festival of L.I.G.H.T.S, is approaching. I, along with Rex took few bombs (namely aalu bombs) and decided to explode them in my floor's corridor itself. I took out my match-box, Rex on seeing that got terrified and ran away as I have earlier lit few match sticks in front of him and made him scare. I burst out laughing as he was really fast while chasing away. I then lit the bomb and too ran away at least with a 20 ft of distance. After a few seconds, Boooom! and here they goes..... my ears. Rex started shivering with fear and I got so nervous seeing him like that. Afterwards, me and my mom  consoled Rex and gave him a toffee just like a child who is terrified and  cools down after his elders provide him with some love or affection.

Navraatri Fun 

As you know today is Ashtami, 8th day of Navraatri. A pooja was conducted at my house. Rex was really confused seeing all the arrangements though he was hungry and his mouth watered after he looked at halwa :D
He too got a red-tika, used before the pooja, on his forehead which in turn made his white fur red :P And he also tried removing it with the help of his paws!

Rex, Then & Now.

When Rex was a pup'y,he used to get excited at seeing adult dogs. Whenever he meets one,he started hopping upon it,smelling,licking etc..:D And the adult would stay still like a mature person. It was an eye-soothing sight.

And now, when Rex is 2.5(exact)years old; A similar thing has happened. He was in park playing all by himself and eating grass, though its not dog for a dog b'cus they cannot digest it, just then a cute-small pup'y came towards him. He started doing similar things which Rex used to do when he was small.

Again and Again

Today, when I woke up in the morning, Mom told me that Rex had vomited several times last night. Me,"Haawww! How?", mom then told me that he might have eaten plastic or polythene as he had vomited that too along with other stuff. Then mom also told me that Rex was really in a bad condition last night and was suffering alot. 

I felt pity, I felt bad. From then I decided not to throw off anything on the floor.

The readers should also obey to this. Do not litter b'cus animals are everywhere....

Afterwards when Rex came back from his morning walk he was happy and refreshed. 

I always say,"Rex chalo ghumi ghumi"(let's go for walk) he, with a speed of rocket stand up and get ready.

Destructive Rex(i)

Once upon a time, an year ago, Me and my family went out for a movie. We left Rex alone in the bedroom.After 2-3 hours when we came we saw the mattress of the bed was torn off badly, a mud-vase was broken resting down on the floor and Rex was eating the stuff which was inside the mattress.Since then Rex is never left freely and always tied with a leash. :D

'Rexory'

A Confession

He, Rex, is like my own family member. I have never been partial but I have loved him more than anyone Human that I have loved. 
I always have tears in my eyes when I realize that this pretty animal have been granted with only 13 years of life. You know, once I had a game in my class named as 'wishing tree'. I wrote upon it that May 'my Rex' live forever. :') My friends called me mad, kidding they were though. 
My mom always keeps on scolding me,'Why do you keep cuddling him everytime' she says. I reply to myself that mom he is the only one who listens to me quietly without a sound. He is the only one with whom I can talk whatever damn topic in this whole world. 
When I miss someone I hug him thinking of that someone. When I'm sad I do the same.
Pets are mere animals but according to me they are god itself who is there with us every time, for hearing our problems and giving us strength. 
I have gone too far with my emotions but I know I've somewhere made the reader emotional too. 

This is a confession of the owner of this blog but it can also be seen as a dog lover's FEAR confession. Yes, the fear of loosing....

Yes, Rex(i) is surely looking very, very sexi in this winter ear-protector :P Dogs do feel cold in winters despite having a huge fur on them though Rex ain't having that not much.

And as I have told you all Rex is very self-obsessed and photogenic, he never misses a chance to be clicked. 

See how perfectly he is posing without moving a millimeter :P  

And off course not to forget his 'CHAIN'. The Chain is like his own organ he never let it off himself or else if we try to remove or snatch it from him, he tries to threaten us by showing his daring teeth.
